The purpose of respite is to allow the caregiver to rest, recharge, and remember that there is life beyond caregiving. Respite is about taking care of what is necessary in all of our lives.

Discussions about goals of care, education about medical interventions, creation of advanced directives.
Advanced Planning Workshops
Utilizing the Five Wishes document.
Consultations
2 hour length visit; This is for people not requiring doula services at this time, but may have end of life questions, need resources, conversations, education to help provide for family members.
End of Life
1. Emotional support/companionship.
2. Education–providing resources and explaining the symptoms of the normal dying process.
3. Legacy Projects–honors your life and story; a gift to your loved ones.
4. Vigil Planning–how do you want to live your last days; creating an atmosphere that follow your wishes.
5. Respite visits for caregivers.
6. Bedside Vigils–providing care, presence and support to you and family during the active dying stage.
